OMBI considers innovation the core of its mission. This is why in 2021 OMBI revolutionizes the traditional chain making machines by patenting and introducing on the market automatic chain making machines equipped with electronic plier controlled by brushless motor. This brand-new technology allows to simplify production processes and to switch from a chain to another just by selecting the desire one on the panel-screen (oppure touch-screen). No need to change mechanical parts.
This technology has been applied in all chain making machines for the production of Curb chains (single/double/triple), Cable chains (single/double/triple), Figaro chains as well as special versions such as Spike chain, Chinese rope chain, love chain and many others.
The decision to install the brand-new electronic plier controlled by a brushless motor comes from the goal/purpose to help chain making machine operators, increasingly rare professional figures, during the tooling and machine’s setting phase.

Thanks to this technology, the operator/technician is now able to determine the thrust and the exact degree of torsion that he wants to apply for chain production just by selecting it on the touchscreen. The advantage is represented by constancy and chain precision.
In addition to it, OMBI machines are supplied with specific programs capable of helping the technician in choosing the chain designs to be produced.
All the customers who so far had the chance to try this brand-new technology are very satisfied: the possibility to have complete control on the electric plier makes possible to produce curb left & curb right effortlessly and without changing any mechanical part. In case of couple together curb left & right, the coupling is perfectly symmetrical, eliminating inaccuracies and misalignments.

Among our latest innovations we also find the machine for the production of Polish Mesh: up to now produced by hand with low productivity, the Polish mesh can be used for the production of watches straps, bracelets and rings with unique design.
